BDM Heavy Vehicle Repairs is your trusted service centre. We service, inspect and repair heavy vehicles of all kinds.

As a locally owned and operated business, we care about our community. We want the best for individual and commercial owners in the area, which is why we focus on being a one-stop shop.

We provide heavy vehicle services for drop-ins and appointments as well as a 24-hour breakdown service. Whenever you need heavy vehicle service in Wauchope, Taree, Kempsey, Port Macquarie or surrounding areas, you know who to call!

Our Team

Benjamin David Moylan is the man behind the business. Since opening the business in 2008, Ben has been working hard to grow the workshop and offer more services to customers. He worked alone in the beginning, providing all in-house work and emergency call-out services.

A lot has changed since 2008. Now, Ben works alongside a staff of 7 people. The team continues growing every year as the business does. Currently, there are 4 diesel mechanics and 2 apprentices in the workshop.

Where We Operate

Although our workshop is located in Wauchope, we provide service to other surrounding areas as well. Our mobile services operate within Port Macquarie and South West Rocks as well as locally in Wauchope.


For fleet services, plant or heavy equipment servicing, we’ll come to you! Our breakdown service operates 24/7, but other mobile services are by appointment only.

Service Centre Affiliations

As of 2018, we are officially a customer service station for Mack, UD and Volvo. We also operate as a Wabco Service Partner.


Our affiliations help us provide specialty service for heavy vehicles from these brands or which contain tech from these brands. We’re familiar with each brand and ready to provide the service and repairs you need to keep them going strong.

Authorised Inspection Centre

We perform inspections for heavy vehicles in New South Wales. Along with roadworthy inspections and defect clearances, we’re also an authorised inspection centre for caravan inspections and mobile crane inspections.

For servicing and maintenance, we trust Castrol oils and engine fluids. Castrol has a good reputation for long-lasting, effective engine oils and fluids. We use these oils and fluids exclusively, but we’re also happy to use anything you bring along with you for servicing.


With our battery replacement service, we trust Lion Batteries. These strong batteries work perfectly for heavy vehicles. Even for our mobile repair service, we’ve always got a few spares with us in case you need a replacement on the road.
